Dr. Summerer-Moustaki was born in Athens, Greece .
She completed all her schooling including medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in New York, USA, before moving to Munich in the year 2000 together with her German husband and their first of three children.

With completed university based residencies in the US as well as in Germany, she has over 20 years experience in gynecology, obstetrics and infertility workup and has access to an excellent medical network in both countries.

1988-1992: Biochemistry (Premed) at Columbia University, New York City, USA

1992-1996: Medical School, University of Rochester (New York), USA
1996-2000: Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Strong Memorial Hospital (University of Rochester) und St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital (Columbia University) and qualification as American OB/GYN
2001-2002: Residency at the University Clinic of LMU Klinikum Großhadern (since 2002 German OB/GYN specialist)
2002-2004 Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at the University Clinic of LMU, Klinikum Großhadern
